Located in North Residence Hall, the Feed the Pack Food Pantry stocks food, household, and hygiene items. Feed the Pack is free for students, faculty, and staff. Please complete our intake form and bring your NC State ID with you when you come to the pantry.

Student Government, NC State Dining, and the Student Ombuds partnered to create a student-to-student meal sharing program for students experiencing short-term food insecurity. Students can receive donated guest meals from student meal plans, which are added directly to their student ID card and provide discreet access to meals at no cost.

Full and partial meal plan scholarships may be available to students who are experiencing difficulty paying for a semester’s plan. Meal plan scholarships are reserved for first-year students who are required to purchase a meal plan. These meal plan scholarships are need based, subject to financial aid considerations and provided by donors.

Feed the Pack offers free cookware kit rentals for NC State students. Whether you’re looking for sheet pans, cooking utensils, pots and pans, or even a rice cooker, you can borrow the kitchen essentials you need to prepare meals with confidence. Submit a Pack Essentials application in your MyPack Portal to get started!

A Place at the Table is a pay-what-you-can nonprofit cafe at 300 W. Hargett St. Suite 50 in downtown Raleigh. Serving breakfast and lunch, people can pay the suggested price, pay more, pay half of the suggested price, or pay by volunteering. All are welcome in our cafe!

H.O.S.T. (Housing Options for Students Today) is a nonprofit that partners with NC State to provide resources, such as rent-free housing with host families in Wake County and support with emergency housing. This program supports college students throughout Wake County.
