A Place at the Table
A Place at the Table is a pay-what-you-can cafe at 300 W. Hargett St. in downtown Raleigh. They provide community and healthy food for all, regardless of means. A Place at the Table provides Feed the Pack with vouchers, and we give these vouchers to our patrons so that they can use them to receive meals at the cafe.
The Agroecology Education Farm
The Agroecology Education Farm provides NC State’s Dining operations with produce. For whatever the Agroecology Education Farm has left over, they deliver several produce items to Feed the Pack in bulk. These items can range from cucumbers to butternut squash to a variety of tasty products. This allows us to provide our patrons with a steady and fresh supply of produce.
Bread of Life
Bread of Life is an outreach program that connects with many organizations in and around Raleigh. Each week, Feed the Pack picks up bread to stock our shelves for the week. They have played an integral role in the food pantry being able to offer bread products to our Pack.
Diaper Train
Diaper Train is a local nonprofit that works to provide diapers and other essential supplies to families in need. Their support helps Feed the Pack offer our patrons access to diapers and other necessities, ensuring that our pantry can support a wider range of household needs.
The Flower Shuttle
The Flower Shuttle recycles flowers and budding plants for the Raleigh community. Every week, The Flower Shuttle provides live flowers for the shelves of Feed the Pack to liven up patrons lives.
Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC
The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina is a nonprofit organization that provides food and assistance for 34 counties across the region. Every Monday morning, Feed the Pack picks up food from the Food Bank. They provide us with bread, produce, beverages, snack items, and a number of other products which have now become staple items in our pantry.
Food Lion
Food Lion is a grocery store that supports Feed the Pack by helping supply items from our wish list, including condiments, spices, canned foods, prepackaged meals, hygiene products, and more. Their support helps us provide our patrons with the variety of products available in our pantry.
Food Recovery Network
The Food Recovery Network at NC State works to reduce food waste by recovering surplus food from campus dining locations and redistributing it to those in need. Their food donations help Feed the Pack provide our patrons with additional meals and fresh food options while keeping good food out of landfills.
Hayes Barton UMC
Hayes Barton United Methodist Church supports Feed the Pack through food donations and community outreach. Their contributions help us keep our pantry stocked with much-needed items and provide our patrons with a greater variety of food options.
Hindu Society of NC
Hindu Society of North Carolina supports the local community through its food program, preparing and providing fresh vegetarian meals to those experiencing food insecurity. Their continued commitment to fighting hunger helps support organizations like Feed the Pack and patrons throughout the Triangle.
H.O.S.T.
HOST is a local organization that provides housing support for students who may be experiencing housing insecurity. Their work helps support student well-being and stability, strengthening the broader network of resources available to the NC State community.
Interfaith Food Shuttle
Interfaith Food Shuttle is a nonprofit organization that recovers and distributes food to food-insecure communities across North Carolina. Every Monday, they deliver a variety of pantry staples to Feed the Pack, including canned vegetables, shelf-stable milk, peanut butter, and other food items. We look forward to potentially sourcing frozen products and produce from them in the future.
Islamic Association of Raleigh
The Islamic Association of Raleigh supports the local community through food donations and community outreach. They provide Feed the Pack with pre-cooked meals, helping keep our pantry stocked and giving our patrons additional ready-to-eat food options.
Live It Up! Hillsborough St.
Live It Up! Hillsborough Street is a community initiative that brings together local businesses, organizations, and residents along Hillsborough Street. Their support of Feed the Pack helps connect our pantry with the surrounding community and provides additional resources for our patrons.
Players’ Retreat
Players Retreat is a local restaurant that supports Feed the Pack through providing gift cards. Their contributions help us provide our patrons with additional food options while strengthening our connection with the local Raleigh community.
Publix
Publix supports Feed the Pack by donating a variety of food items to help keep our pantry stocked. Their contributions provide our patrons with additional fresh and shelf-stable options and help us maintain a diverse selection of food in the pantry.
PORCH Raleigh
PORCH Raleigh is an all-volunteer organization that works to fight hunger through monthly neighborhood food drives. Their volunteers collect non-perishable food donations and deliver them to local food pantries, including Feed the Pack. Their consistent donations help us keep our pantry stocked with much-needed items for our patrons.
Pullen Memorial Baptist Church
Pullen Memorial Baptist Church is a local Baptist church that supports Feed the Pack. Each week they donate surplus sandwiches and other snack items from Starbucks to Feed the Pack. These donations each week provide a great variety of snacks and meals for our patrons.
Raleigh City Farm
Raleigh City Farm is a nonprofit urban farm in downtown Raleigh that grows fresh, locally grown produce for the community. Through their Farmshare program, Raleigh City Farm donates seasonal produce to Feed the Pack, helping us provide our patrons with fresh and nutritious options.
Raleigh Community Kickstand
Raleigh Community Kickstand is a nonprofit organization that works to make cycling more accessible at NC State. Through their support, they provide bikes for students and help us offer additional resources to our patrons.
Sprouts Farmers Market
Sprouts Farmers Market supports Feed the Pack by donating a variety of food items to our pantry. Their contributions help us keep our shelves stocked with fresh and nutritious options, giving our patrons more variety when choosing the food they need.
