More in My Basket is a program developed at North Carolina State University/Cooperative Extension that helps reduce hunger by connecting North Carolina residents to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

The ePass program is a way for residents of North Carolina to apply for benefits and services in North Carolina. ePass helps connect applicants to benefits including medical assistance, food and nutrition services, energy assistance and more.

Full and partial meal plan scholarships may be available to students who are experiencing difficulty paying for a semester’s plan. Meal plan scholarships are reserved for first-year students who are required to purchase a meal plan.

University short-term loans are available to assist students who need small amounts of funding for emergency expenses. The maximum available loan is $500. To learn more, please contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

The Student Emergency Fund was established by the Division of Academic and Student Affairs (DASA) to help ensure that NC State students have access to the support and resources they need to successfully recover from unexpected financial crises.

The NC State Sustainability Fund offers grants to current students, faculty and staff who propose high-impact experiences for students while advancing sustainability at NC State.

The NC State Tuffy Fund provides for immediate needs related to financial assistance for alcohol related issues. Funds can be used for (but are not limited to) counseling/therapy, and hospital visits.

The University Fellowship Office helps undergraduate students, graduate students, and alums learn of and apply for nationally competitive and prestigious awards.

The Wake Network of Care is a comprehensive online resources database designed to increase access to many community services located in or near Wake County. Connected services include childcare, medical assistance, financial assistance and more.
